If you’ve heard the buzz about social media and don’t understand the harm or value it can bring to your business/brand or you’ve setup your twitter and other social media profiles but don’t know how to use them; to find and engage with new customers and to increase your brand reach – then this workshop is for you.
 
Whether you are starting or looking to make something of your social media platforms, Jacqui and Drew will give you an insight on how to effectively use social media in your business and marketing strategy.

'Bucking the trend - winning business in a downturn' with Kate Dodson'



We had an excellent an excellent presentation from Kate who explained why it's not so easy to find business and it no longer comes looking for you but by sharpening up techniques and acquiring a few new ones, you can win additional business. It only takes a few tweaks to your sales process to turn good performance, which is no longer good enough, into outstanding results. 

 
Kate has been in the finance industry for over 25 years with Barclays, involved in Business Finance for over 18 years both as a relationship manager for Business banking and a Credit Risk Manager for Barclays Asset and Sales Finance in Basingstoke. Kate has put together structured deals for clients and worked in the turnaround arena. 

 

Now running her own training and business consultancy, she has firsthand experience working with businesses to plan and achieve their goals.

 

Kate Dodson is a remarkable and outstanding business and training consultant with over 18 years experience working with businesses in the SME sector providing finance and banking services.  Her recent work includes presentations on self promotions for women, the art of persuasion and the sales process.
 
Kate is an innovative trainer and has worked with Barclays Training Team for several years, putting together exciting and participative workshops/training events to give real benefit to the delegates and deliverable results in the shortest possible time.  She was also involved in developing new systems to streamline processes and improve customer service.

 

Meetings

 

Most meetings will take place at The Monks Yard just outside Ilminster. As we are self-funding we charge a nominal amount of £6 (collected on the evening) which goes towards the food on the evening and the hire of the hall. We meet at 7pm.

 

 

We aim to finish at about 9.30pm.
