Who's Who

There are many members who give of their time to make SWIRE a success. Here we give you a little information about the key players.

We hope everyone will feel able to help in some way, however small. It could be printing out flyers to take to an exhibition, organising a meeting for us, writing a flyer or some copy, updating the website or anything else you can think of.

Jeanette Neale - Chair

Jeanette Neale is a Chartered Management Accountant with many years experience both in the private and public sector. She set up Neale Accounting in 2005 to provide clients with an all-round, year-round accounting and bookkeeping service.

"I enjoy meeting the many different types of business that come along to this relaxed but focused group and contributing to it”.

Carly Warren - Secretary

Carly is one of the founder members of SWIRE, playing an integral part in the development and growth of the group. Carly set up her own business in October 2004, Thoroughbred Design and Print Limited – which offers a bespoke print management service to companies in Somerset and beyond.

Carly has lived in Somerset all of her life, has two horses and a dog to keep her busy when she's not working.

“Since being in business, I have been fascinated by the diversity of business women in Somerset. SWIRE helps bring these like-minded women together. There is a great atmosphere at the meetings which is truly inspiring and it's lovely to meet women from such a variety of businesses, the likes of which I have not come across at any other group"

Jacqui Yeoell - Deputy Chair

Jacqui has been on the SWIRE team for a couple of years and is responsible for sending out newsletters and the website. She and Zetta are always happy for members to send in details of any events or news items. Jacqui is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and has an online art gallery.

"Swire has been such a support to me in many ways; the networking is informal and relaxed and the speakers are informative and motivating too."

Caroline Rigby - Treasurer

Julie Atterton-Gunn

Julie, who joined SWIRE in 2008, works as a life-coach and EFT practitioner helping clients to release the beliefs that no longer reflect who they now are, and then creating lives that truly work for them. She works from her home in Ilchester and enjoys leroc dancing and travel.

'Swire was a bit of a revelation for me. It was so refreshing to meet so many other women who work in a somewhat isolated way, and I have gained so much from the meetings which are often like mini-workshops with a really wide variety of speakers and subjects. They're normally quite fun too!'

Zetta Morton

Zetta has twenty years of experience of writing for newspapers, BBC radio, TV and magazines. She has also handled press and PR for large organisations including the Arts Council of Wales right down to SMEs just starting out and needing a pr boost. Zetta has worked with a number of business women's networking groups over the years and strongly believes in their ability to give women in business confidence, contacts and above all friends in the same situation.

"Speaking out about you and your business's achievements is incredibly difficult for most business women, it's generally not where their skill lies. But I can always find an angle and know where, who and especially how to target the media to get your name and your business out there. SWIRE enables me to meet women in need of this kind of service."
